Art Director Lee Petty takes you on a guided tour through the world of Brutal Legend. He explains how the world was created and he shows some of the “Titanic Landmarks” that make this world into metal heaven. He also introduces you to the factions that inhabit the world. There are the Ironheade based on the classic chrome and leather Nordic-metal, the Drowning Doom that are based on black-metal and goth subcultures and last but not least there are the Tainted Coil said to be based on the developers own research in the SM scene and inspired by Jheronimus Bosch. I always knew those metal heads where into that kinky stuff…

Team Fortress + Battlefield + Plasmids + BIG DADDY = Bioshock 2 Multiplayer!!!

Setup as a testing ground for the Plasmids available in the game this multiplayer looks like a lot of fun. Although it does look a bit to chaotic sometimes. The option to become a Big Daddy at some point and destroy everyone in your path looks like a nice add-on to the madness.

Rockstar Games // new website, trailers, wallpapers & screenshots

Since i’m sort of fan of Rockstar Games and everything they create i had to share this information with you. Starting august 26th they launched an all new website with loads of new trailers, screenshots and more info. In short, they announce a new trailer for “the ballad of gay Tony” will be available september 1st. This is the next episode of Grand Theft Auto IV downloadable content for xbox live coming october 29th. To keep you warm they released two new wallpapers for this same episode as well. Along with the release of an all new trailer Beaterator for PsP and PsN gets an official release date of september 29th. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown wars will be available for PsP on october 20th and they revealed some screenshots. And last on the list there is some “social club” news as well. Gamescom trailers // Brutal Legend

And of course there is also a new trailer for Brutal Legend revealed at the Gamescom in Cologne. Who could have guessed it after the tons of trailers released for the game already. I couldn’t, i thought(hoped) the track-list revealing rubiks-cube solving trailer was the last we would see before the release but i was wrong. If you havent seen that one you can watch it after the jump. But be warned the game has a very long soundtrack.

Prefuse will be visiting the Gamescom on saturday and make a full report about that day.
