with one comment

This is one of my favourite free to play online games. Now with all new Vampire & Werewolf outfits and three maps playable in “night mode” with added spooky sound effects. It keeps getting better and better.

Death Rally // Free 2 Play re-release

leave a comment »

“In 1996, Remedy Entertainment (currently working on Alan Wake) developed an addictive top down racing game called Death Rally. Now Death Rally is being re-released, ported to modern Windows platforms, and available in its entirety for free to download and play.

The point is simple: win races to earn money, use that money to buy upgrades, and put the money toward upgrades to knock opponents out to win more races.”

with one comment

“After the success of the original, Mr. Podunkian has recently been hard at work creating the sequel to one of our ‘Best Freeware Arcade Games 2007’ and has released the above development video.

Entitled ‘Merry Gear Solid 2: Ghosts of Christmas Past’, expect to play December 2009, giving you enough time to go back and play through the first one.”

The Tester // Open Casting Call!

with one comment

“Are you at the top of your game? Now you have a chance to prove it in the new reality competition series for PlayStation Network called “The Tester.” This original program will challenge a select group of gamers in a series of tests to determine if they have what it takes to make it as an official Game Tester. The elimination competitions throughout the series will not only test the contestants’ video game knowledge, but they will also challenge the gamers’ memory, stamina, dexterity, and overall mental prowess. Contestants must have the whole package to take home the coveted prize in this new original series. That’s because the lucky winner will earn a contract position at Sony Computer Entertainment’s Quality Assurance department in San Diego, CA, where he or she will get hands on time with the most highly anticipated games in the industry.”

You must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in and a current resident of the United States for consideration.

Flashbang Studios Release Time Donkey

leave a comment »

Flashbang’s ninth game has now been released! Time Donkey is available to play over at Blurst.com.

“In a very peculiar nutshell, the hero donkey has a bit of a problem – he is stuck re-living the same 30 seconds over and over again. Cue a barrage of donkeys and much puzzle solving by use of donkeys from your past! Or should that be donkeys from your own time? Surely this makes no sense whatsoever, but when it features donkeys who destroys things in search of tacos, sense is few and far between.

Slicing, Dicing, Rolling and Skating @ the Gamescom ’09

with 2 comments

I immediatly thought back to last year’s 4-day trip to the Leipzig Games Convention together with Fred Prefuse when i found out last week that i won two tickets for the Gamescom in Cologne. We did think about going again earlier this year, but actually didn’t get to plan something serious. Now NG-gamer provided us with two tickets we just couldn’t resist the call to at least go and have a look. And as part of the price there where two Fairytalefights goodie bags and caricature drawings by an art director of Playlogic waiting for us when we got there. So after discussing our options and getting Fred Prefuse’s girlfriend to come along we decided on going saturday….

F2P Splatterhouse remake // The mask shines again

leave a comment »

“Living Hell” is a 3d remake of the original “Splatterhouse”. Once again you can use the baseball bat, the hammer, the shotgun, the machete, the shovel, the axe or the butcher’s knife to hack your way through the deformed creatures you encounter to finally save your girlfriend Jennifer.

After peaceful years, demons have been summoned again to the surface, they act at daylight, kill and tear to pieces without distinction, spreading the death on their path.
